Looks like Santa Clara County is the next to receive a state-of-the-art "sobering station". It's designed to handle individuals who are intoxicated but non-violent and just to "mellow out". This apparently will free up the jails for criminals who are in fact dangerous. What people are talking about is the fact that these places will have recliners, snacks, as well as laundry service.
