Judge Throws Out Radio DJ's Lawsuit Up Against Taylor Swift

A judge has thrown out David Mueller's case against Taylor Swift, determining that she "did not act improperly" by reporting that the former DJ had allegedly groped her during a meet-and-greet in Denver, Colorado, back in 2013. The judge went on to say that there was insufficient evidence that Swift was responsible for Mueller's firing from country station KYGO-FM, which occurred two days after the incident. Entertainment Tonight reports that Swift, her family and legal team appeared overjoyed when the verdict was announced. The singer declared "holy s**t" and hugged her brother Austin. Mueller was suing Swift for $3 million because he believed he lost his job after she reported to his bosses that he'd reached up her skirt while they were having their photo taken together. Swift's countersuit against Meuller still stands and will be deliberated by the judge on Monday. She is asking for a mere dollar simply to have Mueller held responsible for what she claims he did and to make a point about sexual assault. Several stars, including Lena Dunham, Nelly Furtado and George Takei, have applauded her efforts on social media.
