Medek
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Highland Park, to be exact, Eric, aka Medek, was always involved in music. Growing up in a gang infested area, he began to lose sight of his first love, music at one point. But once freshman year of High School hit, that was soon to change. Being introduced to CDJ's from a childhood friend intrigued Medek to turn his life around.
Spending most of his time practicing on CDJ's, he soon realized that he wanted to expand his knowledge. Already knowing several instruments, it was clear that turntables were the next thing Medek needed to grasp. He quickly learned how to mix, and manipulate records. Medek then attended LA Recording School, and received a certificate in Music Engineering. At the age of 20 he became a resident DJ at several venues in the LA area. And now he has rocked some of the biggest events in LA with hopes to expand in the Bay Area!
Medek is not only a DJ, but a man of many talents. From producing edits, working with local artists, and rocking some of the biggest festival stages, he also has an artistic side. Make sure you keep an eye out for Medek, because this is only the beginning of whats to come.
