Mattel has decided to add two new Barbies to its “Inspiring Women” Barbie Doll series. These new dolls honor two iconic women- Rosa Parks and Sally Ride. Rosa Parks was a key leader in the Civil Rights movement that took place in the 1960's when she refused to get up from her seat on a segregated bus. And Sally Ride was the first American female astronaut in space. What other inspiring women should be added to this collection? I say Harriett Tubman, she's my favorite female in history.
