Over the weekend The Alameda County Sheriff’s Office received a tip about a possible cockfighting ring. Upon arriving to the residence on Saturday they discovered and rescued HUNDREDS of birds. They said that there were around 50 to 60 people at the event which is clearly breaking shelter in place orders. Although most of the people ran away upon the cops arrival 10 were detained and later let go without charges. Read more here.
