Mayor London Breed To Delay ReOpening Of San Francisco Due To Rising Cases

San Francisco was getting ready to reopen Monday, June 29 but with recent cases of COVID-19 on the rise, Mayor London Breed is putting a halt on the reopening. Yesterday, June 25, San Francisco saw about 103 new cases of coronavirus. When they first opened for outdoor dining there was only 20 cases.

COVID-19 cases are rising throughout CA. We're now seeing a rise in cases in SF too. Our numbers are still low but rising rapidly. As a result, we're temporarily delaying the re-openings that were scheduled for Monday.
