Rihanna Reportedly Puts ‘R9’ on Hold ‘Indefinitely’ And Here’s Why

Rihanna's last album came out in 2016, Anti.

She promised a new album in 2019 which then turned into 2020.

Then a pandemic hit; now the infamous R9 is on hold indefinitely.

According to a source they said, she wants to make her millions with beauty and is planning a new skincare line to go alongside her Fenty Cosmetics. She realizes there is more money in the beauty game than music.

The source is correct. The beauty industry is a billion dollar industry. Touring and any kind of large venue event to promote a new album is bleak due to COVID-19.

Is Rihanna about to become this generations Dr. Dre who people are still waiting on Detox?
