Welcome Oakland’s New Coffee Shop, Charlie May: Guamanian & Filipino Fusion

The Bay Area is constantly buzzing with new amazing spots to check out and this Saturday in the Oakland hills you need to stop by the latest and most unique coffee shop to hit the East Bay, Charlie May Coffee and Tea House. Reigning from the East Bay themselves, Arianna and Analyssa Cruz have dug into their Guamanian and Filipino roots to infuse their culture with their passion for cold brews, coffee and teas. “We started at home during the pandemic, brewing around one pound just for us, which grew to five pounds once we started making it for our friends,” Analyssa said. Arianna adds, “Before we started doing the pop-ups, we went to Guam for a month for inspiration and to realign where we wanted to go as a business". These ladies have been hustling around the Bay serving their expansive menu up at Farmer's Markets and now they are welcoming the Bay to their first official shop with the Grand Opening THIS SATURDAY! Swing by Charlie May Coffee and Tea House this Saturday on 11200 Golf Links Road, Suite G Oakland, California 94605 from 8am-2pm and check out their site CharlieMayCoffee.com and their IG below. Congrats ladies!
