This week the Santa Monica Pier will be honoring the Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant on Thursday, August 24th (Kobe Bryant Day) with a light-up display on the pier's Ferris Wheel.
The Ferris Wheel will have 2 light displays that'll say: "LA + ♥ + 24" and "LA + ♥ + 8" and will of course be displayed with purple and gold patterns.
