"I wanted to share a story: I moved from SJ to SF in June - I'm single and raising my 14 yro niece - and one of the very first places to make us feel welcomed was Chang's Kitchen on Irving and 11th (across from San Tung). The owners and staff were so kind to us and continued to remember us when we went back. On October 19, an accident happened where their restaurant ended being caught in a fire! They had to shut down and someone has started a GoFundMe to help them try to recover. This is not just a local business but the people inside offered such a warm and caring experience, no matter who walked into their restaurant. I also have such wonderful memories with my niece there; it was our first place that gave US a chance in a new City. Thank you for reading and listening to my plea for support.
