This is why for the first time I can relate to the Bachelorette..

If you caught last night than you saw Dean say goodbye. I normally watch these shows for purely entertainment and never took it seriously. Simply because I cannot relate to these peoples lives. I just can't. I come from a very dysfunctional family by society's standards. I was very surprised to see the show actually take us a little bit into Dean's world with this family. Even though I know there was major editing I saw enough to be able to sense there were major underlying issues especially with Dean and his father. That's real to me. Having issues and conflict over tragic events within family is real to me. Do I think the producers of the show exploited Dean's situation for ratings? I mean look Dean knew what he was getting himself into, and I think part of what we saw last night was the reality of his life. I respect that. More here.
