What a morning in the Bay Area!
All these things happened on the same morning including a major hailstorm dumped heavy amounts of hail in parts of the Bay Area. A magnitude 3.9 earthquake struck in the hills east of San Jose Monday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
According to the USGS the quake hit at 9:40 a.m. on the Calaveras Fault about five miles east of Alum Rock, at a depth of five miles. People in the Bay Area noticed the crazy turn Mother Nature took and vented about it on social media.
