Imagine this basically as a battle of robots! It definitely looks very very cool. "The Wreckoning," as Sunday's match has been dubbed, features the returning 15-ton champ, Eagle Prime, a giant 15-foot-tall spar-ready robot knuckling up once again.
A year after defeating the 9,000-pound Japanese giant Kuratas (below), a new challenger has emerged in the form of the definitely 100 percent made-up "evil Silicon Valley technocrat" "Zork Muckerborg."
Eagle Prime will square off with Muckerborg at 2020 Poplar Street in Oakland on Sunday, May 20, at 1 p.m. Tickets for the family-friendly event might be a little pricier than one would expect — $44.28 for general admission and $23.16 for kids.
