If you've been following this battle between Pusha T and Drake, it just even went deeper. Pusha explains his diss track about Drake called The Story of Adidon. In an interview with our sister station (the Breakfast Club), Pusha said he went in so hard after Drake mentioned his fiancée Virginia Williams in the Duppy freestyle. Push said, "All bets are off because of that." Now all relationships are fair game. He said he's "here for the sport of it," but "when it gets personal, it gets personal. I definitely didn't go too far." As far as the blackface Drake photos used for the songs artwork, Pusha said, "Drake took those pictures a little while ago.
They said it was his idea, something he wanted to do…I need a few answers. I really do. Like I really need to understand like what makes you take a picture like that, like what's the problem?" You've had some time to let it marinate. Do you think Pusha took it too far OR hey this is the rap game right?
Adidon is the name of Drake’s upcoming Adidas line and now that name will be associated with this beef and Pusha’s monstrous diss track. Pusha has, in effect, screwed up Drake's brand before it came out.— Touré (@Toure) May 30, 2018
dog, pusha just explained “the story of adidon” on the breakfast club. adidon is drake’s adidas line (named after the kid) and his son will allegedly be featured in the photos.— JAY ADAMS (@jayadams) May 30, 2018
“adonis is your son and he deserves more than an adidas press run”
still can't believe that Pusha T ended up being a better investigative journalist than all of Rap Twitter— Shea Serrano (@SheaSerrano) May 30, 2018
What I love the most about this Pusha T vs. Drake beef is that Pusha doesn't have a single thing to lose. He's only gaining in every aspect at this point.— ronald isley (@yoyotrav) May 30, 2018
If the adidas rumors are true, could Pusha T and Drake coexist with the brand? pic.twitter.com/7nfBCMpe0T— B/R Kicks (@brkicks) May 30, 2018
Look... Push is waiting for Drake to respond. U really didn’t think Pusha was giving his all with that response, did U? This is rap, popularity wont count in Drake’s favor this time round... Pusha T ain’t Meek Mill, rememebr that https://t.co/vSjyZQmFjp— Chron Burgundy (@chronburgundy) May 30, 2018
