According to a new survey, the most miserable state in America is West Virginia. The Gallup-Sharecare Well-Being Index interviewed over 160,000 adults and measured sense of purpose, social responsibility, financial security, relationship to community and physical health. These results were mixed with other socioeconomic data.
The other most miserable states are Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi and Oklahoma. Nationwide, the well-being of most Americans dropped from 2017 to 2018. I know the cost of living here in the Bay is insane but look at the bright side, and trust me we live in one of the best places in the country. We have incredible culture, diversity, weather, food, and I can keep going on. We are definitely blessed!
