Halloween is just around the corner and the CDC not only wants you to enjoy the festivities, but be safe and cautious!
Trick-Or-Treating
If you plan on going trick-or-treating:
- Wear a mask
- Note: Costume masks will not keep you protected!
- Practice social distancing
- Wash your hands
- Keep hand sanitizer on you
- Thoroughly wash your hands with soap and water when you get home, before having any treats
If you plan on giving away candy or treats:
- Avoid or minimize direct contact with trick-or-treaters
- Give away individually bagged treats to kids to pick up
- Stay outdoors
- Wear a mask
- Wash your hands often
Alternate Activities
Other activities you could enjoy:
- Check out a pumpkin patch and pick out pumpkins to carve with the family
- Enjoy the outdoors at orchards, forests or local haunted corn mazes
At home activities to try:
- Halloween style scavenger hunt around the house or backyard
- Costume parade
- Halloween movie night
