Bay Area Officials Considering COVID-19 Travel Advisory During The Holidays

The holidays are quickly approaching and Bay Area officials are considering putting a travel advisory in place for those planning to travel out of state during the pandemic. As COVID-19 cases continue to climb across the county, health officials are worried that the holiday season will make matters worse as families get together to celebrate.

According to the SF Chronicle, if the travel advisory gets put in place, it will likely be recommended, but not an exact order for all residents. Those who travel will likely be asked to quarantine for 14 days and/or test negative for COVID-19.

As of today, no definite decisions have been made. However, please take caution this holiday season. Wear a mask, practice social distancing, and keep your friends and your families safe!
