Now that Jennifer Lopez has given the new Selena TV series the stamp of approval, Christian Serratos is elated.
The actress playing the role of Selena says, "I didn't see that coming at all. I'm such a fan of hers and grew up watching that movie. I know that movie backward and forwards, and she did such an amazing job playing Selena."
She does add, though, that she feels pressure stepping in Selena's shoes and following in the footsteps of JLo.
She adds about Jennifer's message, "I was so happy when I saw that. I saw it on social media with everybody else. I didn't know that was coming, and it was really heartwarming."
