A sculpture of Breonna Taylor, which was located in Oakland, California, was recently smashed and vandalized.
The ceramic bust was installed to honor Breonna and was located by City Hall. There was a plaque on it that read, "Say her name: Breonna Taylor."
So far, the Oakland PD has not identified any suspects or motives.
The artist who created the statue said its "an act of racist aggression aimed at suppressing the fight for Black freedom."
