San Francisco Cancels New Year's Eve Fireworks Due To The Pandemic

San Francisco's annual fireworks show for New Year's Eve has been cancelled!

Every year, Bay Area natives gather around the Ferry Building and surrounding piers to bring in the new year with a dazzling fireworks show. This year, due to the pandemic and ongoing stay at home orders, San Francisco officials are encouraging people to safely celebrate from home and avoid large gatherings.

As a result of this cancellation, BART will not be extending their hours on New Year's Eve and will be stopping service at 9PM.

Goodbye 2020!
