Fresno Street Vendor Shot $21K Reward Offered For Information On Shooter

Fresno Police are looking to identify a man who shot 45-year-old street vendor Lorenzo Perez. Witnesses said around 4:30 pm a man asked the street vendor to come over to him, gesturing he was going to buy something when he pulled out a gun and shot Perez in the head. The man stole items from the vendor and fled the scene. The vendor was rushed to the hospital where he unfortunately died, leaving behind a family of four children ages 15,13, 9, and 1 year old.

Fresno City Council President is offering a $5,000 reward for information that will help lead to the shooter's arrest. Other members of the city council and Valley Crime Stoppers also contributed money and raised the total to $21,000.
