Nischelle Turner Is The First Black Woman To Host 'Entertainment Tonight'

Nischelle Turner's new gig hosting Entertainment Tonight is making history.

She is officially the first African American woman to host the show in its 40 years on the air.

She talked about the honor and said, "I was floored. I didn't know someone who looked like me could do this."

She added, "You look at local news stations now and see all races and ages. It's a slow burn, but I really do see things changing."

She will also take on the role of host for the new show "Secret Celebrity Renovation."
