The San Francisco 49ers signed Mexican football player Alfredo Gutiérrez!
Gutiérrez is part of the international player pathway program which invites athletes from around the world an opportunity to be part of the NFL. The player gets signed to the practice squad giving the team an extra practice squad member. Alfredo Gutiérrez played youth football in Mexico and joined Tec de Monterrey on a full athletic scholarship where he graduated and won a National Championship in 2019.
