CA To Have Rent Relief For Low Income Families & Extend Eviction Moratorium

California Governor Gavin Newsom And Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf Speak On State's Actions On Homelessness Crisis

Governor Gavin Newsom is trying to help Californians after the pandemic by extending the state's eviction moratorium to September 30 and increasing funding relief for tenants and landlords. This new bill will help use more than $5 billion in federal rental assistance to help tenants and landlords.

Newsom also tweeted all lower-income Californians will get help with unpaid rent,

California is investing $5.2 billion to cover ALL the unpaid rent for lower-income Californians who struggled during the pandemic. This is the largest rent relief package America has ever seen. California is ROARING back -- and leaving no one behind.
