The owner of 7 Mile House, located on the border of San Francisco & Brisbane, reported that they had received seven fake unemployment claims in the past two weeks. They posted on Instagram to encourage other business owners to be vigilant, saying:
!EMPLOYERS BEWARE! I've just received 7 fake EDD unemployment claims in the last 2 weeks. Help stop fraud by diligently responding to EDD requests for verification. So frustrating that these people take advantage of the system!
