The vaccine mandate officially begins today in San Francisco! According to London Breed, people will need to prove they received their COVID vaccine in order to enter restaurants, gyms, clubs, theaters and any "high contact" indoor settings.

Vaccinated people may carry their physical vaccine card or provide a photo of it. You may also get a digital copy of your COVID vaccine record to keep on your phone here.

This rule does not allow a negative COVID test in place of a vaccine. KRON4 explains, "It’s either fully vaccinated status or no-go."

San Francisco establishments with outdoor areas (such as restaurants) may serve unvaccinated customers.
