It's been almost 2 years since the pandemic started and I was finally able to interview an artist in person! Tai Verdes stopped by before his show at Greek Theatre in UC Berkeley. Having 1.7 million followers on TikTok, he has been creating videos and gaining support from his fans on his latest single 'A-O-K'.
I was sitting on my butt at home and I watched the youtube kids go from making videos and go to LA...I was NOT missing my chance and got on TikTok. Just happened that this one worked for me
Playing piano for 13 years, ukelele, AND guitar has helped him with producing his own music,
learning the ropes of production...right now I think that going back and realize the AP music class that I took has helped give me a headstart on what i need to do to communicate to producers and talk to songwriters.
He is currently working on producing some music for other artists and definitely has an album on the way! Tai Verdes has been grinding to get to where he is right now and we can't wait to see what else he does. Check out the interview and an acoustic performance of his single 'A-O-K' below!
