Barbie is releasing new dolls with specially made outfits to celebrate the Lunar New Year. One Barbie will have a coutour-made garment by Guo Pei.
Dressed in royal blue representing the union of earthly elements, and intricate embroidered dragons for luck and strength, Guo Pei’s breathtaking creation celebrates her cultural heritage, and hopes to fill your holiday with beauty and joy.
The other Barbie is
dressed in a traditional Dunhuang-style hanfu inspired by sweeping tones and murals important to Chinese culture.
