If you thought things were odd now, things are about to get a lot weirder! As social distancing is to be enforced despite the slow loosening up of laws in individual states, measures are being taken to keep businesses afloat.
The Little Washington Inn in Virginia is expected to open at the end of the month, but it won’t be doing so without an interesting twist. This inn will be placing 50% of the tables with mid-century themed mannequins to make things feel less empty. This idea to dress the mannequins in the 1940’s clothes came from the restaurant’s Chef Patrick O’Connell.
The Little Washington Inn is currently only allowed to have half of the usual capacity for outdoor seating but will be extending to indoor seating on May 29th, according to Complex.
