Peaceful Protest Shuts Down Golden Gate Bridge

Black Lives Matter protests continue around the Bay Area over the death of George Floyd. This afternoon, there were thousands of protesters on the Golden Gate Bridge that began at noon from the toll plaza. The protesters were marching through the lanes and caused traffic to pause temporarily.

Some hopeful news for San Francisco: Mayor London Breed and Supervisor Walton have discussed allocating some funds from the police budget to services for the African-American community who have been disproportionately affected by COVID-19.
