Protesters gathered today (June 20) for the ‘Speak Up And Dribble: Supporting the Black Community Outside the Lines’ protest. This peaceful protest united the Basketball community to demand justice for Ahmaud Arbery, Breanna Taylor, George Floyd, and all victims of racist violence. The protest started at 2pm from 6th Street & Folsom in SOMA District(which features a Basketball Court with Kobe Bryant Mural) to Midpoint at City Hall where protesters kneeled together in solidarity for 8 minutes and 46 seconds in honor of George Floyd.
