NBA Twitter just acquired a gem! If you didn’t know, Halsey recently created a new Twitter account “@halseyandone”, which is solely dedicated to Tweeting about her Los Angeles Lakers. The “Without Me” singer claims that she “just (wanted) a place to tweet about basketball.” When I first discovered the Twitter account I wasn’t sure if it was actually her, but after some brief scrolling I found Halsey announced on her main Twitter feed,
“I made a twitter account so I can tweet about basketball. pls do not interact unless ball is life. @halseyandone #LakeShow”
The account is very much real and was verified by Twitter immediately. Many fans have pointed out, since she started the new hoop account on Sept. 8, the Lakers have gone undefeated. She may in fact be their good luck charm! And although I’m not a Lakers fan (Go Dubs!!), I have to say her new Twitter account is easily one of my new favorites from NBA Twitter. Halsey has great commentary, hilarious memes, and definitely takes the time to check anyone who dares to call her a bandwagon Lakers fan. Check out some of her best Tweets so far below!
