Oakland's Starline Social Club On Market To Seek New Owners

This one hurts! Oakland’s iconic ‘Starline Social Club’ is currently on the market seeking new ownership, due to the Coronavirus pandemic. I had so many fun nights here, especially their comedy Tuesday’s where they hosted local talent for stand-up shows along with live- jazz music. 

The owners of the club shared the following message on Instagram:

Well fam, we held out as long as we could!

Y’all know a huge part of our business is getting large groups together to share fluids - bad biz in the age of the Rona! 

Hopefully someone will come along and take over before the banks do!

We can’t possibly express the extent of our feelings at this moment, but we will continue to try over the coming weeks. Hundreds of people built this place - I’ll be posting semi-embarrassing pictures of you all soon! 

More importantly - take care of yourselves, your community and vote these evil politicians out of office. So many folks need help right now! Let’s grow - people need justice, not booze.
