Nooooo! Another gone due to the pandemic. After 71 years, the beloved bowling alley "Albany Bowl" on San Pablo Ave will be closing its doors for good. According to the East Bay Times, owner John Tierney cited the lack of cash flow for most of the year and absence of government relief as the reasons behind the closure, sharing,
“I’ve spent $700,000 out-of-pocket (since the shutdown), and I can’t keep going that way," Tierney told the East Bay Times. "... I can’t hold on for six more months."
