As of Jan. 1, Frontier Airlines flight attendants will now be accepting individual tips. The company started this in its in-flight payment system a few years ago, but the flight attendants were actually required to pool tips. Now, customers who order a drink or a snack aboard a Frontier flight can add a tip of 15 percent, 20 percent or 25 percent after they purchase a drink. Some think adding a tip is a nice gestures while others think that attendants should simply be paid higher wages. Right now the median annual salary for a flight attendant hovers at around $50,500. Would you tip your flight attendant?
