Ariana Grande is being accused of cultural appropriation but you be the judge.
A fashion mood board for her Sweetener Tour made it's way to the internet and mostly features fashion from black women like Rihanna and Ciara.
An Instagram account called Diet Prada posted the fashion boards and said, 72% of the four page document features black women.
They accuse fashion designer, Versace, who designed Ariana's tour outfits, of replicating custom bondage designs from another designer only making small changes.
Ariana's stylist, Law Roach, took to Instagram to defend the mood boards, this mood board was created by me (a black man) for her so am I stealing from my own culture? She didn't style herself people. Who in the fashion industry isn't inspired by Rihanna?
Is it cultural appropriation or fashion inspiration?
