Kevin Durant, 3 Other Nets Players Test Positive for Coronavirus

NBA star Kevin Durant has announced he's one of four Brooklyn Nets players who have tested positive for the coronavirus.

Making the revelation Tuesday in an interview withThe Athletic, the 6-foot 10-inch Durant said, "Everyone be careful, take care of yourself and quarantine. We're going to get through this." He did not name the other three players.

While Nets officials have confirmed that four of their players have been infected by the virus, they also declined to identify them. "The health of our players and staff is of the highest priority to the organization and the team is doing everything within its power to ensure that those affected receive the best care possible," a statement from the Nets reads. "As always, we appreciate the support of our fans, partners and surrounding community, and we wish all those who are battling this virus a speedy recovery."

Does hearing that sports figures have tested positive make the crisis feel more threatening to you? Are all the restrictions going to stop it from spreading on wide scale ... or is that inevitable?
