Yeah, I don’t know about this one chief.
Sittercity (https://www.sittercity.com/), which is an American online marketplace for families and corporate employees wishing to hire local in-home care (basically eHarmony for babysitters and nannies) has come up with an idea way too good to be true. The company is trying to offer nannies and babysitters to care for children remotely by using laptops, iPads, and phones.
The service will keep younger kids engaged using “games like Simon Says, I-Spy, online chess or checkers and 20 Questions,” a Sittercity spokesperson explained. This sounds equivalent to just handing over a kid and iPad. But who knows? Do you think this is a good idea? Let me know in the comments or @LaCrystalRosas on Twitter!
Personally, I think this tactic works much better--- but that’s just me.
