Experts Are Still Unsure Why COVID-19 Kills More Men Than Women

Experts agree that COVID-19 is more deadly for men than for women. What they don't understand is why.

According to the most recent research, men account for 51 percent of coronavirus cases, but 58 percent of coronavirus-related deaths.

Researchers don't know if the difference is biological, such as the presence of more estrogen in the bloodstream, or environmental, such as men being more likely to smoke or eat junk food.

It's also possible that men are less likely to follow protocols like wearing a mask or washing their hands.

Why do you think coronavirus is deadlier for men?
