Hate crime and robbery charges have been leveled against two Wilmington, Delaware, women caught on video stealing a 7-year-old boy's MAGA hat.
It happened outside of the Democratic National Convention as the women were destroying signs belonging to a group of Trump supporters.
The boy's mother recorded the incident which was posted on social media. She can be heard pleading with the combative women to return the cap. At one point, one of the women appears to land a punch on an adult male who tried to intervene.
Camryn Amy and Olivia Winslow were indicted by the grand jury Tuesday. The 21-year-old women face charges of second-degree robbery, second-degree conspiracy, endangering the welfare of a child, third-degree assault, attempted third-degree assault, offensive touching and felony hate crimes.
Did you see the video? Are the charges reasonable? What do you say to people who think this behavior is acceptable? Should a judge make an example out of them and sentence them to the maximum of 15 years if convicted?
