Two Louisville police officers have been shot in the wake of Wednesday's filing of charges in Breonna Taylor's death.
The shootings occurred Wednesday evening as thousands of demonstrators took to the streets to protest the news that only one of three officers was charged in the case -- and he wasn't even charged with murder. Of the two officers who were shot, one is "alert and stable," while the other was in surgery Wednesday evening, says acting Police Chief Robert Schroeder. One suspect is in custody, Schroeder adds.
After Wednesday's decision was revealed, the city -- anticipating unrest -- set a 9 p.m. curfew for all residents.
Is this decision going to prompt the most violent response yet? How can prosecutors justify not charging any of the cops with killing Taylor?
