In a TV spot promoting her first-ever hosting gig on "Saturday Night Live," Adele reveals two things: 1) her new, slimmed-down figure, and 2) her flawless imitation of an American.
In the promo, "SNL" cast member Kate McKinnon -- who appears alongside Adele and musical guest H.E.R. -- tells viewers to "tune in" in an English accent. In what appears to be an unscripted moment, the 32-year-old Adele shoots back, "Oh my God! No worries, girlfriend," in an American accent.
Although Adele has appeared on the sketch comedy show in 2008 and 2015 as a musical guest, Saturday's episode will mark the first time she's hosted.
When foreigners imitate Americans, from what region of the country do they usually get their accent? Would you like to see Adele transition to acting?
