While finishing his four years at Tech with a cumulative 4.73-grade point average (on track for a 5.0 GPA for his senior year) 18-year-old Ahmed Muhammad will become the first Black valedictorian at Oakland Tech High School! He also received 1540 on his SAT's with a perfect 800 in the Math section and a 740 in the Evidence-Based Reading and Writing section. He's also part of the Bulldog’s varsity basketball team. He applied to 11 universities and was accepted to Harvard, Princeton, UC Berkeley, Stanford, and some with scholarships! He told KTVU Fox, "It feels amazing. I’m grateful to be accepted to any single college, but 11 of them? I had never imagined this". Read more about his accomplishments HERE.
