UPDATE:
Police have issued an all clear on the lockdown situation on the UC Berkeley campus. The gunman reported on site ended up being an armed security guard who had "legitimate business" they were tending to on the campus.
Police are asking the public to avoid the area of MLK and Cesar Chavez Buildings on the UC Berkeley campus after reports of a person with a gun.
"Please avoid the area until further notice," police said.
A 19 year old Berkeley student said she was working in the Cesar Chavez Student Center when she heard loud screams and was told to get out of the building. Both the Cesar Chavez and MLK Buildings are currently on lock down. This is a developing story so check back for updates
