OK, we didn't think we could get more excited about The Lion King remake coming out but the AMAZING news just keeps on coming! It looks like Elton John and The Queen herself, Beyonce, will not only be reworking the soundtrack but will also write and record a NEW song for the film. Elton John told The Sun as follows:
“There’s going to be four of our songs in the film, from the original: ‘Can You Feel The Love Tonight?’ ‘Hakuna Matata,’ ‘I Just Can’t Wait To Be King,’ and ‘Circle of Life.’ And then there will be an end, closing song, and we’ve been speaking to Beyonce’s people and hopefully Tim and I and her can cook up something.”
How amazing is that?! All the classics are going to be included in the soundtrack AND new Beyonce music?! Take our money now!! The movie comes out in 2019 and has a cast including Donald Glover, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Alfre Woodard, John Oliver, Seth Rogen, and the original Mufasa, James Earl Jones as well as Yonce voicing adult Nala!
