Dang! This is a HUGE lawsuit. But it's not that Ed Sheeran can't afford it i'm sure. But Ed is being accused of copying Marvin Gaye's hit, "Lets Get it On." Structured Asset sales has filed a $100 million lawsuit claiming that his hit "Thinking Out Loud," is an exact replica of Marvin Gaye's hit.
The lawsuit claims that Ed's song has the same melody, rhythms, harmonies, drums, bassline, backing chorus, tempo, syncopation, and looping. Sheesh thats dang near the whole song.
Sheeran has been sued by Townsends family, but no word if Gaye's family plans on filing a lawsuit. Get the full story here.
