There is a new app in town. SnapCrap is new to iOS and it allows people to snap photos of feces on the city streets. Once the photo is uploaded to the app it reports it to 311.
Sean Miller who is behind the app, came up with the idea when he moved to SF from Vermont in 2017. He was inspired to create it when he found himself stepping in human feces a lot.
Now we know San Francisco is known to have some filthy streets. And there is about 68 calls a day to report sidewalk poop a day. Lets see what this new app will do. Will you download SnapCrap? See more about the app here.
