Looks like Cruise is going to be testing Driverless cars, right here in SF.
They announced that they were testing fully. The company is affiliated with Honda and General Motors. They say that it has taken more than 5 years to get to this point.
Now not to worry, the tests are taking place with a Cruise employee in the passenger seat with an emergency switch if needed. There are only certain streets in San Francisco that allow for testing and the vehicles cannot go over 30mph and only operate in dry conditions.
