Health Officials Issue Warning Of High Bacteria At 4 Los Angeles Beaches

Labor Day Weekend is coming up and if you plan on hitting the beach you might want to rethink which one you go to.

According to KTLA 5, health officials have warned beachgoers to stay away from the water at four popular beaches in Los Angeles due to high bacteria levels. If you do go to any of the beaches listed below, you should avoid swimming, surfing and going into the water in general. Below are the beaches that are affected:

  • Santa Monica Pier - Santa Monica
  • Mother's Beach - Marina Del Rey
  • Inner Cabrillo Beach - San Pedro
  • Topanga Canyon Beach - Malibu
