Titanic Tourist Submarine Disappears During Voyage - 5 People Are Missing

OceanGate, a submarine that gives tours of the Titanic shipwreck for $250,000/person, has been missing since Sunday, June 18th and the U.S. Coast Guard has confirmed that they have been searching for the vessel.

The submarine lost contact with the Coast Guard about 2 hours into their voyage to the Titanic and is carrying 5 people inside.

"We are deeply thankful for the extensive assistance we have received from several government agencies and deep sea companies in our efforts to re-establish contact with the submersible," the OceanGate statement continues. The trip set sail from St. John's in Newfoundland.

Since the submarine went missing Sunday, it has been said they have about 40 hours left to find it because it only contains 4 days worth of oxygen. Praying that they find the submarine with the 5 people inside it. For more information, click here.
